Pop prodigy Greyson Chance has returned with a new album, Planet X, that features a much more mature sound than his 2011 debut, Hold On 'Til The Night. The 16-year-old is previewing the new full-length with the deeply funky, arrestingly adult single "Thrilla in Manila," which you can stream exclusively on Billboard.com

he former YouTube star and "Ellen DeGeneres Show" regular took inspiration from the 1975 boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier for the single; in 2012, the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines was home to a sold-out crowd at one of Chance's Southeast Asia shows. Co-written and produced by Chance and Gordon Groothedde, "Thrilla in Manila" draws from the pop songwriting of previous singles "Waiting Outside The Lines" and "Unfriend You" while expanding upon Chance's sound -- in short, Chance has gotten up from his grand piano and now wants to dance.

"'Thrilla in Manila' is a funk track that speaks of turmoil between friends when relationships get romantic," says Chance. "Sonically, it perfectly teases the sounds of my new album."
Details of Chance's Planet X album are forthcoming. As a Monday throwback, check out the teen singer's 2011 studio session performance of "Waiting Outside The Lines"
